The beginnings in agricultural machinery

The JYMPA group has its origins in 1971, starting from a small agricultural machinery workshop in Castellserà, a small town with a farming tradition in the province of Lleida. In those early days, when contact with farmers was direct, it was easy to design and apply improvements to existing machinery and, by understanding their needs, to create the perfect machine that fully adapted to their work. JYMPA is a pioneer in machinery: it was in 1974 that the first stone pickers were developed and patented to clear stones from the fields and thus optimise the land, keeping the soil clean so that roots can grow and absorb all the nutrients from the field. As a complement to the stone pickers, the subsoilers were also launched, one of the flagship products in the JYMPA catalogue.

International distribution

From then on, the products of the JYMPA group began to be distributed all over the world: Poland, Romania, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Bolivia… Owing to the growing demand in the American market, in 2011 a factory was set up in Mexico to consolidate the company’s position on that continent. For more than 50 years, JYMPA machinery has prepared arable soils in more than 30 countries.

From its origins, and still today, it gathers the needs of the farmer, adapting, improving and designing the products that help them in their demanding work. So much so that in 2012 JYMPA received the Technological Innovation award for the presentation of the Optimax 3 multifunction combined equipment, made up of a subsoiler, a fast harrow and a spiked roller.

Knowledge of the sector, together with the talent and experience of its professional technicians, has enabled the JYMPA group to grow and establish itself in the agricultural sector, becoming a benchmark in soil preparation.
